Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barkley walked up to my office 5 months ago, extremely malnourished and very sick. He was treated for mange and remained boarded at the vet for 4 months. He is a 1 year old American Staffy mix. A month ago, we decided to foster him to give him a yard to run in and a family to love on him. Since he has lived with us, he has been house and crate trained and is beginning to learn several commands. He is amazingly well behaved with my young children. He loves to play with my dogs (one his size, one much smaller), but he allows them to remain the alpha dog. He has demonstrated no signs of aggression; instead, he loves to cuddle and pretend he is a lap dog. He is a great running/walking partner and would make a talented agility dog. We have grown to love him tremendously. Unfortunately, the constant playing is causing our dog with hip dysplasia to be in a lot of pain. We want to make sure Barkley goes to a great, loving home.
