My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Sophie is a beautiful peaceful girl. She's an excellent groomer; she's always spotless and her fur feels like silk. She is very affectionate and playful. She loves chasing balls of tinfoil, toys on sticks or laser lights. We had not ever had pets and fostered Sophie once her owner became ill (and later died) but found out afterward that our son is allergic to cats. We've done the best we can to manage for as long as we have by having our son live downstairs, take two prescription allergy meds (because he didn't want us to give her up) and by cleaning constantly; however, it just isn't fair to him. We recently went on vacation for the first time since adopting and it was remarkable the improvement our son had in his health (feeling better) just from being out of the house/away from the fur/dander for 5 days. For this, and a few other personal reasons, we've decided we need to find our sweet Sophie a new home. We love her dearly and want Sophie to go to a great home.
