My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HOMES FOR ANGELS RESCUE IS HELPING ANOTHER RESCUE POST THIS DOG.

If there was a Miss K-9 America pageant this beauty would be wearing the crown.

Chewy is a beautiful 4 year old female who made her way into rescue because her original owner passed away and his family members just didn't want her. Sadly, she is not the first. But those days are over. Safe and loved Chewy is quite the character...like any young lady she loves to talk, especially when she is being petted. She can be shy at first but warms up quickly. She can play and yet be very laid back. She would be great in a home that has a very laid-back male dog and/or be the only dog in the home. The foster mom is working with Chewy on how to play with a ball and other toys.
She has a chance to show her loyalty and gratefulness to the family by barking when strangers are around.
Chewy is currently on a diet. Her 45 pounds is a bit overweight for her frame.

Chewy will not go to a home with small children because she will try to herd them. Because of her herding breed a completely fenced yard will be required.

Chewy is a Aussie/Blue Heeler, 4 years old, 45 pounds, housebroken, spayed. If you are interested in more info on Chewy, please contact LINDA-RAINY CREEK RESCUE 517-437-3587
