Paige is a lovely pup! She is friendly and sweet with people, good with dogs and cats, and gentle with young children. Paige is doing very well and ready for her own forever home. As you can see in her videos, she loves the foster family’s boy and is very well-behaved when the kids play. The foster family also has many rescued dogs like her waiting for homes. All the doggies learn to share everything from affection to food to toys. Paige started some basic obedience training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and house-trained. Paige rides well in the car and enjoys both a quiet home or an active life. She is one smart girl and will make a lovely family dog.

Paige’s Rescue Story

Poor Paige was found abandoned in a remote mountain. She was starving and shivering in the cold. There was no shelter and she was found hiding in the bushes. A kind man was on vacation hiking in the mountain and found her crying out for help. He didn’t know quite what to do so left all the food he had with him for Paige. Through some searching, he found a responsible rescue organization online. The rescue quicky responded to his message and knew it was urgent to save Paige from the cold. The kind man went back to the mountain and poor Paige was still hiding in the same spot. She was completely wet and starving. With some yummy food, Paige rolled over to show how much she appreciated.

Paige was rushed to the vet for a complete health checkup. Luckily, she is healthy just underweight because of the lack of food. Poor Paige must have gone by with barely any food. Paige is spayed, vaccinated, chipped, de-wormed, and passed negative on her blood tests.

After a week at the vet, Paige arrived in her foster home and adjusted well. She enjoys the company of all her rescued dogs. Paige walks well on the leash and enjoys her daily walk in the mountain area.

Please give Paige a safe and happy home to grow up so that we can continue to save more dogs in desperate need.
