My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benjamin is a 10-11 month old Schnauzer mix. Benjamin came to us from Texas with two other brothers and they were all incredibly shy and afraid.

Benjamin does well with women but is afraid of most men and children - he will bark, growl or run away. He has been learning in his foster home but will require a very patient home to help him build trust. He LOVES toys and other dogs and needs a home with another active dog he can run and play with. A home with a fully fenced yard, another active dog his size or bigger, kids over the age of 10 if any at all. His best friends include a Saint Bernard and a french bulldog.

He is good on a leash but does get frightened if a loud truck drives by. He is kennel trained during the day and knows how to sit and comes when he is called. He sleeps by his foster moms side of the bed on a dog bed, sometimes in her nightstand where he feels most safe. He is not potty trained but will go outside if you remind him - he wears a belly band at night to 'catch' any accidents.

Benjamin requires grooming to keep his face clean as the hair grows into his eyes.

His adoption fee is $500 and he is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccinations. To be considered please fill out an application.
