My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bruiser is our 3 year old spaniel mix. He weighs 15 lbs.

Bruiser gets along fabulously with the other dogs here at the rescue. If you are looking for a new family member that is FUN then Bruiser is your boy. He loves to snuggle and just be with you. Oh, and simply one beautiful pup! His coat is gorgeous. You won't find many like him walking around.

If you are interested in giving Bruiser a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the notes section. While you are there, please Like our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

The application can also be downloaded from our website www.merceranimalrescue.org

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you.

Bruiser’s adoption donation is $525 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), rabies, heart worm test, heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.
Bruiser has had a recent heart worm test and he is heart worm negative.

ALL OUR DOGS START THEIR JOURNEY IN TENNESSEE

Bruiser is fostered in Tennessee and will travel to his new family once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast. Pick up is available in VA, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, VT.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
