Emma is a beautiful nine year old Jack Russell Terrier. She weighs about 11 pounds and despite being partially blind, she is in very good health. She has had all her vaccinations and a dental and senior blood work done. This sweet girl was pulled from a shelter in Shreveport, LA before Christmas. We are not sure what her previous life was like, but she was not in very good condition. She is now happy and healthy. She is doing great in her foster home and has adjusted to being a loved and pampered lap dog! Emma needs a calm home and a consistent schedule. We know that she will do best in a home where she knows what is happening and what is expected of her. Her little tail wags all the time and she loves to be snuggled and scratched. She will not be happy if she is alone all day, so if you work away from home and will not be able to be with her and interact with her, she is not the dog for you. We recommend no female dogs, no cats, no kids. She will be okay with male dogs if they do not constantly try to play with her. Emma must have a fenced yard and an owner who will always go out with her. She cannot ever be left out alone. Emma is spunky! She is a true JRT in that respect! She may not be able to see the critters, but she likes to bark at them!
