Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Libby is currently being fostered in HOUSTON, TX. She is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. Her adoption fee is $500, which covers her flight to her new family, a travel kennel, and she is vetted.**
We believe Libby is about 1 year old, Labrador Retriever mix. She weighs about 50 pounds. She was an owner surrender that had 6 puppies and the owners couldn’t properly care for all of them. Libby is so young and has already had puppies but she is still a playful puppy herself! She loves everyone she meets! Libby loves other dogs and toys! She likes to take all of her toys to bed with her! She is house, crate and leash trained.
A NOTE FROM HER FOSTER MOM: I actually think she would make a great service dog she is so calm, loyal. I have her sit for a treat and when she grabs I say "gently" and she is gentle. A quick learner. Not food aggressive wants to play and could easily be trained to walk off leash, I have started teaching her to walk not pull, I just stop until she relaxes and we carry on when she pulls I stop again; she is getting the hang of it. She loves ruffling her blanket and likes her toy as a pillow. Just a wonderful loving dog, tolerant of my girls. Loves cuddles, and is like my shadow. Likes her bedtime crate but enjoys being with the family and loves her dog bed for lounging. Likes a walk but loves to get home. Loves affection. When my little Abbie is going mad at a squirrel, Libby just looks at her as if to say "take a chill pill". Abbie and Libby walked with my husband this morning and were great together. Annie is the protector so is a tougher nut to crack but adorable Libby takes it in her stride. Whoever gets this beauty will have an exceptional dog
**Libby is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and doing very well in her foster home. She is ready to find her family to complete her transformation. If our sweet girl sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at pawhuggers@gmail.com for more information or to complete an adoption application please go to www.pawhuggers.org, hover over the Adoptables tab and then click on Adoption Application. Her adoption fee is $500 to help cover the cost of her airline flight and her travel crate.
