Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Skipper is available and the vet estimates he is between 3-4 years old. Skipper is a high-energy boy that loves to play. He loves loves toys, both hard and soft. He will destuff the soft toys rather quickly. : ) He also like his ball and we’re sure he will have a ton of fun chasing and retrieving the ball in the back yard. He is learning his leash skills and still pulls a bit but coming along nicely and knows when it’s time for a walk. Skipper loves to ride in the car and takes in all the sights and sounds. Skipper does like to be up on the couch with his people and will be hopping up in the bed as well. Skipper is 30 pounds and he will be in your lap. : ) He is fine with other dogs and is currently living with 5 other shelties and he is very respectful with all of the pups in the home. Skipper has not lived with any cats so we are unsure how he would get along with cats, and due to his energy level would be best in a home with older children 13 and up. Skipper is 98% with his house training and has made significant progress since his neuter was completed. Skipper is fully vetted, and has all of his vaccinations, his neuter, a dental clean and polish and is micro-chipped. He likes to meet new people and seems to warm up and bond with his new folks in a short time. He has not been in a crate at his foster home, but does just fine in an X-pen as needed. Skipper is a runner, so special attention will be needed during walking and the use of a shoulder harness will be needed, and he WILL need a secure physical fenced in yard for his safety. NO EXCEPTIONS… We will not approve electric / underground fencing. His adoption fee is $325.
Skipper is being fostered in the New Castle, PA area.
