Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ginger is a sweet and friendly young lady, almost 5 yrs old. She loves people and will be happy to keep your lap warm during these cold winter months. Ginger has lived peacefully with small, calm dog. Her BFF in her foster home was an elderly dachshund. She would prefer a single-cat home, she’s not fond of feline friends. A quieter home may be best, to help her adjust to her new surroundings.
Ginger was first with us as a kitten in 2015, and oddly at a young age, became diabetic – we believe from excessive stress of an adoption that did not work out (it was the person, not the cat). She willingly received daily insulin injections and through a specialized diet, her diabetes has been in remission for over a year now and she no longer requires insulin nor prescription food. While being treated for diabetes she was living in a very loving home that was stress-free for her and we believe this helped her diabetes to go into remission.
If you'd like to be the lucky person to have Ginger as a sweet companion, and have a home that sounds like a good match for her - please submit an application which is available on our website. They can be found at www.angelcathaven.com and can be filled out online, faxed to 617-488-2239 or emailed to cats@angelcathaven.com.
