My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a duo of pups to add to your family? Look no further than Grady and Beamer! Double the dogs means double kisses, double the love, and double the happiness! These two mini fluffy-butts are a bonded pair and absolutely LOVE each other. They need to be adopted together and will thrive with each other around.

Grady is the black Chihuahua mix. He came to us with a ruptured eye, and unfortunately had to have it removed. Despite what happened, he is absolutely loving life!

Beamer is the black and white Jack Russell mix. He takes a little longer to warm up, but is happy as can be with his friend Grady.

Beamer and his biological brother were found in the woods barely surviving in the wild. The two were so nervous of humans they proved impossible to be caught by hand and were eventually only successfully caught after the shelter set up humane traps for them. Unfortunately, Beamer’s biological brother was in such poor condition by the time they were captured, he passed away. Beamer was completely lost without his other half and severely depressed in addition to being stressed from the shelter environment. Thankfully, Grady, who was surrendered to the same shelter around the same time was placed in the kennel next to Beamer’s and the two instantly became best friends. Gradys eye was surgically removed due to it being ruptured at the time he was surrendered to the shelter. Grady’s confidence has really helped Beamer come out of his shell and make great progress in becoming less shy around people. Having a buddy once again in his life has greatly impacted Beamer’s happiness for the better and we are certain Beamer’s uplifting and playful disposition towards Grady also aided in Grady’s recovery from surgery. The two are inseparable and can often be seen during events wrestling and giving each other kisses in their crate. They would love a nice warm forever home to call their own!
