Here's what the humans have to say about me:
That black flash you're seeing running across your screen is DORY! Dory is a 14 month old 40 lb. Standard Poodle (75%) / Border Collie (25%) mix. She is crate trained and potty trained. She was purchased from an Amish Puppy Mill at 3 months. Although they loved her dearly, her new owners were elderly and ill equipped to deal with her exercise and stimulation needs and sadly she spent most of her time in their house confined, only going outside for potty breaks on the end of a leash. She missed out on critical socialization.
Dory needs a home where there is a physical (no invisible) fenced in yard. She will need a lot of physical exercise every day! She needs a patient owner ideally with herding breed experience who can work with her to make the world less scary for her.
She is good with other dogs but is bossy, exuberant and lacking social cues necessary to be successful in a pack. It’s possible she could live with a well balanced dog who could be her mentor. No children, she’s afraid of them and when she overcomes that fear she will want to herd them. She is a work in progress with tremendous potential in the right home.
