My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Lucy! I'm a slightly older pup, but I definitely have some youthful pep in my step! I’m an easy going gal, who doesn’t take much to please. I love going for walks, getting attention, and snuggling. I’m very easy to walk on a leash and always go to the bathroom outside. I spend my days relaxing with my foster sister who is a 45lb pocket pittie just like me! I wasn’t so sure about her at first but after getting settled in my foster home and a slow intro, we’re now best buds! I have playful bursts of energy but sometimes naps are just more fun!

I am crate trained and I know basic commands. As for my energy level it can be anywhere from couch potato to moderate. I can’t wait to snuggle up in my furever home!

Even though she loves her fashionable sweaters, she’s ready to ditch them for warmer weather!
She also LOVES toys and makes sure to give all of them equal attention!

ABOUT PEACE 4 PITS RESCUE:
Please note that we do not have a facility or shelter where you can view adoptables. We are a foster-based rescue in Chicago-land, which means that each dog is placed with a family in the area. This allows us to better understand each dog's individual personalities.

You must complete an application before you can schedule a meet and greet with each animal. The application can be found here: http://peaceforpits.org/adoptionfoster-application/ or if you prefer a Word version, download it here: https://goo.gl/bKo84P and email it to p4papplications@gmail.com. Our adoption fee is typically $350 for an adult dog, and $400 for a dog under one year. It includes all vetting and spay/neuter.
