Why I need a new home

Busy schedule

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mabel is an amazing kitty, I adopted her over a year ago, but at that time, I had no idea that my schedule would get so demanding and crazy, and that I wouldn't be able to give her what she needs. She is so precious and deserves someone who can give her more attention. I am gone for almost 14 hours a day, she is lonely and meows at me constantly. This was not the case when I was spending much more time at home.

Mabel is quirky and funny. She is a small cat. As a rescue cat, she is skiddish. It took a long while to earn her trust and be able to hold and snuggle her. She purrs, and spends so much time kneading blankets and pillows when she is relaxing- she loves to play and run. She is an amazing hunter, and lives to hunt the mice in my house. Unfortunately, I think she has killed them all and there are none left. When I visited her at the shelter, she was big spooning another cat, licking and cleaning the other cat and so relaxed. I feel that she would truly enjoy having another animal around, whether it be a cat or dog. She just needs more attention, and a playmate maybe. I love her and it breaks my heart that I can't give her what she needs, but she deserves the best.
