My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MacDougal is sweet funny senior boy. He has his own silly language when he wants to tell you something or get your attention. He gets along well with the 4 resident dogs. He is totally house trained....no marking ever. He likes to go on car rides and gets excited when the leash comes out. MacDougal enjoys sitting next to you, but is also content to lay in a doggie bed nearby. He doesn't seem to know what toys are, so I wonder if he ever had any before. MacDougal seems to have had a bit of a hard life prior to rescue. He has an old injury to his back, which he is getting laser treatments for. He seems to know his limitations and will ask to be helped up or down from furniture. Otherwise he gets around just fine. MacDougal also has dry eye and needs medication in both eyes twice a day. It is not his favorite activity, but he is very good about getting his eye meds. MacDougal would love to find a forever home that would love him and give him the proper care in his senior years.
