Betty is a 3-4 year old, 37lb English bulldog mix. Betty is a total couch potato. She loves being near to her people and is content just lounging on a dog bed, gnawing on a chew toy and getting belly rubs.

Like most bulldogs, she makes ridiculous Tasmanian devil noises and occasionally snorts like a piggy.

She’d do best in an environment where someone’s home most of the time and caretakers will be sure to keep her at a healthy weight, activity low key and protected from the summer heat.

ABOUT PEACE 4 PITS RESCUE:
Please note that we do not have a facility or shelter where you can view adoptables. We are a foster-based rescue in Chicago-land, which means that each dog is placed with a family in the area. This allows us to better understand each dog's individual personalities.

You must complete an application before you can schedule a meet and greet with each animal. Our adoption fee is typically $350 for an adult dog, and $400 for a dog under one year. It includes all vetting and spay/neuter.
