My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET VIOLET !!

This beautiful 24 month old Neapolitan Mastiff is so sweet and such a dream. If she could fit in your lap (or you allow her) she will ! Violet has a beautiful light grey/blue coat with golden brindle striping throughout like a tiger. Beautiful hazel amazingly clear and stunning eyes. Violet was bred. Her puppies taken and she was dumped in one of our local shelters. She was emaciated and had a horrible skin condition and double cherry eye inhibiting her ability to see. I collaborated this rescue with another Mastiff rescuer friend of mine to make her safe. Within a month she gained all her weight back and just now stopped gaining at about 110 lbs. She has one of the most gorgeous colored and healthiest coats with perfect skin and no food allergies. I held fundraisers on my social media sites and raised the money to have her cherry eyes tucked (not cut out) and now does she love to play that she can see !! Violet is ready for her new forever home and forever family. A home with a yard where she can run and play would be great. Her favorite toy and a 3’ or 4’ extra thick rope toy. And she also plays with big dogs and other bully breeds very well. You will see her in pics with a small dog but we will only be placing her in a home with another Mastiff, Pit Bull or other type bully breed so she can play, run and wrestle the way she likes to. Violet is spayed, microchipped, housebroken, crate trained, up to date on all vaccines including rabies.
She is a big baby. Likes to play with other large breed/like breed male and plays with females well with her foster but he’s a professional dog trainer. So if you have a friendly female we can try an introduction and see how it goes. Violet can always be placed with non-aggressive bombproof males.
You must have prior Mastiff, Pit Bull or bully breed experience to adopt Violet. Kids are fine but they must be older if she will knock them over. We have a much more detailed bio and description available to qualified adopters. Please inquire via email and include a little bit about your house, yard, fence, property, lifestyle and activity level.

Include your prior dog experience, previous pets, all current pets in the house and or children and their ages. Dogs need stability and consistency so we require all this info when placing a large breed dog because we want her next home to be her forever home. She was already failed by her first family. We do as much as possible to avoid that happening again. We have put a lot of time, love and energy into Violet and she is a very sweet, appreciative and trainable dog.

FEE:400 utd on shots, microchipped, dewormed, crate/house trained, spayed
