My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BARKING AT ALL YORKIE LOVERS! I'M BARTHOLOMEW!

Yes. I know exactly what you are thinking! How could this tiny four pound teacup yorkie have a name larger than him? Guess what? I don't have the answer to that one other than maybe because the shelter I was brought to when I was found as a stray thought I looked like a BART?

STRAY? Doggone right! I was found running in a park around Christmas time and brought to the shelter. Luckily,the shelter staff felt I shouldn't be in that type of environment and reached out to my rescue to help me find a Foster Home!

It is a good thing that I was taken into rescue as I probably would have died at my seven years of age due to all of the medical issues I had! Don't worry! I may be a measly four pounds, but I have the strength and endurance of a 7 month old. I underwent surgery for a mouth infection as well as a terrible hernia issue ...aside from the fact that I also had to get neutered so I am medically better than ever!

I am a true sweetheart that Foster Mommy says "needs to get adopted" fast or she may not want to let me go! I'm laid back, easy going, wee wee pad trained, and low maintenance for a Yorkshire Terrier.
