PENDING ADOPTION

What type of dog are you looking to add to your family? Do you want one that is young, but not a puppy? One that likes to play, settles down quickly to nap by your side, and is the perfect gentleman on a leash? Do you want one that is big enough that he doesn't get lost in the covers, but won't take up the whole bed? Do you want one that you can take with you everywhere, but doesn't mind being home alone tucked in his crate with a bone to chew on? Are you looking for a best buddy? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Mickey D. would like to meet you!Our little Hamburglar is now happy, healthy, and ready for a home. He is a Aussie/Catahoula Mix around 1 year old, neutered, micro-chipped, heart worm negative, and UTD on shots. Every dog has a story, and here is Mickey D.'s. In June, this 30 lb. brindled boy was spotted hanging out along side of a turnpike in Oklahoma. He was leery of people, never getting close enough to allow a gentle hand to touch him. He did, however, flash those beautiful brown eyes and show his adorable under bite to anyone willing to toss some leftovers his way from the nearby McDonald's. In time, a humane trap was used to get him to safety and into a loving foster home. In no time at all, he warmed up to being part of a family. He trots right alongside you on a leash, has good recall, will sit when asked, and can even shake hands! He gets along with the resident dogs and would make an excellent playmate for a dog looking for a fun friend. Mickey will need a fenced yard for safety. His adoption fee is $85.00.
