My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

terrier male 1+year Say a big woof woof hello to our newest furry friend! Meet Elvis. Yes Elvis is in the building. This Hunk-a-hunk of burning love is ready to meet his new family and you could be them. Elvis is your ultimate friend. He's up for anything! He's very curious of other dogs, and can be a bit "in your face" with other dogs because he loves 'em so much. Elvis should know proper intros by now but hey, Elvis is just that kinda guy. Not all dogs love his "hey" Elvis is a classic terrier mix and is the biggest dog you'll ever meet in such a tiny package. He can run all day, chase a ball non-stop, and keep coming back for more. Elvis is super intelligent and absolutely nothing gets past him. NOTHING. There is no fooling this guy. He's spirited, fearless and sassy with a mind of his own. Elvis isn't above causing mischief just to get a laugh. Because of his spirit, Elvis is also highly trainable and super quick. His adopter should be smarter than him. His current favourite thing is to rip around causing havoc with his foster furries . He loves them and they love him, but I would suspect every once in a while, quiet Elios must think..."for the love of gawd Elvis, give it a rest". He loves to sleep snuggled up, he loves his toys, and he has a tail that will not stop wagging. He's truly the happiest dude. No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.

NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
