Loving lab mix Boo is pure soul, full of sweetness and boundless energy. He loves to romp with my other dogs and to take long naps curled up in the sun with them. He enjoys a table spoon of Laura Scudder's peanut butter in his Kong chew toy. He even loves a dip in the kiddie pool even when it is cold! Boo chases baseballs, soccer balls & sticks. He occasionally has difficulty getting his 6 foot long sticks through the gates but it keeps him busy! He loves attention of every kind: grooming, walking, petting & we are working on increasing our meditation time together. He has a healthy appetite & Loves milk bone treats. Boo's story is written in the expression in his eyes. He is grateful to be off of the cruel streets and richly deserves a loving peaceful home. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative. In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. Most dogs come with a micr-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 235.00- 275.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog. In addition, some of our dogs are fostered in the South and come up once adopted---There is an additional transport fee for these dogs. We are very careful in placing our dogs--and look for the best home for each dog--All of our dogs are fostered in private homes, with fosters who get to know the dogs and know the types of home that would be best for each dog.
