Say hello to Cory, a handsome 5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who appears to be a purebred ... although he is admittedly a huge example of the breed! If you love a Cavi then you are sure to love Cory, all 42 pounds of him. Cory is indeed a bit overweight (we'd say about 7 pounds) but love of his food bowl alone does not account for his size. He is simply a big boy with a big frame (and of course a big heart). Cory comes to us from Animal Care and Control of NYC, where he was turned in as an owner surrender. No reasons were given, which is not surprising. He's as perfect a dog as anyone could fine (friendly, quiet, housebroken, and good with other pets). Cory is a healthy boy who has been neutered, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. He has just enjoyed a professional grooming and will be sporting a new leash and collar at the time of going home. If you would like to adopt Cory, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.com or visit http://www.nyabandonedangels.com/ , where you can complete and return an on-line application. Cory is sure to love you to the very Core of your heart (another reason why God likely made him extra big).
