My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NOVEMBER 1ST-WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR COOPER. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST.

Cooper is a beautiful, sweet, loving French Bulldog. He ended up in a local shelter as a stray, We have no idea how this sweet baby was 'lost'. Who could lose a wonderful baby boy like this? Cooper is 2 years old, and weighs around 27lbs. He is very energetic. His current foster home has other dogs that are older, and it's clear he needs to be with dogs with his energy level. He does have some mild separation anxiety, so a home with someone home a lot, or works form home, would be best. It's obvious that he was left for long periods of time, and fed some kind of table food (hence him being over weight). We think that's why he has some separation anxiety. This guy has a fantastic temperament. He will not be placed with young kids. He also will only be placed in a home with someone with Frenchie experience or like..

My adoption fee is $400, which covers the cost of routine vetting, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing, my microchip, monthly heartworm prevention, monthly flea/tick prevention, and any transport costs if applicable.

If you can't adopt me, consider sponsoring my care and being a rescue angel. Click on the DONATE button below and chip in what you can. Your donation is tax deductible and helps us save more lives!

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster home for a dog in need! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering on our website:
http://www.muttsmatterrescue.com/foster_faq.html

MMR covers the vet care, food, and tools to get started. You supply the love. Fostering saves lives. Sometimes a foster home is the only thing standing between life and death.
