Tyslobbersaurus Tex meaning 'affectionate hound', is a genus of bassetarian dwarfopod canine. The species Tyslobbersaurus Tex (Tex meaning 'self appointed king in the household where he resides currently”), is commonly referred to as “Tech Support”, “Tex Mex Quesadilla”, “Subtext”, “Context”, “Pretext”, “Wilmont” and “Mr. Pooty Head II” in the foster home. He lives throughout the home and backyard in what is now central South Carolina, crumbs and shed hair have been found in a variety of furniture and rug formations dating back to the early 21st Century. He is among several of the non-avian level two hounds to exist during the Otisic Era. Like other bassets, Tex is a quadripedal treatavore with a big heart balanced by an ever-wagging tail. Relative to the large and powerful ear flaps, his forelimbs are short, somewhat crooked, unusually powerful for their size, and bare handsome large paws. By far the second largest treatavore in his current environment, Tex may be a belly rub predator, preying upon visitors and neighbors, although some experts have suggested he is primarily a nap taker. The debate over Tex as belly rub seeker or nap taker is among the longest running in bassetology. However, it is commonly agreed amongst most hound aficionados that Tex is quite the available best friend despite his opportunistic kibble scavenging.
