Are you looking for a nice, calm senior girl? Rita may just be the perfect hound for you. This lady is very submissive and gets along great with other dogs. She is crate trained but prefers to have free run of the house, of course. She does well when she is left unattended but be careful with food on counters and garbage cans! She might just sniff her way to them and find herself a snack. This senior girl much prefers the love from humans to dog toys, especially belly rubs. She has an old injury which, with old age, has given her a limp, but Rita is all for peaceful walks in the park. Mostly, this sweet, calm girl is looking for a family who will love an older Basset and appreciate her for the easy-going, peaceful gal that she is.
