Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Freddy is a very nice, sweet, friendly and loving, seven-year-old, 67-pounds and gaining, male Black Lab-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Freddy was turned into a southern Illinois shelter as if he was used up and thrown away. He had six broken teeth, heartworm disease, a mast cell tumor and he was emaciated. But through it all, he is still the sweetest boy.
Freddy loves people including children, and he’s great with other dogs.. He has no interest in balls, but he does love treats. He knows the command sit and takes treats gently and with slobbery appreciation.
He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed, and in the process of being treated for heartworm.
His adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting him, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net. He is being fostered in Chicago, Illinois.
