I originally became part of HBR as a puppy, way back in 2015 when my fur mom, myself and a couple of my siblings were rescued from the shelter by the nice people at HBR. We were eventually all adopted and life was good! I grew up, I learned to be a good dog, and I thought that things were settled. Unfortunately, that was not the case though. You see the wonderful woman (who I called mom) who adopted me became really sick and could no longer care for me. So someone called HBR and asked if they could help me find another home. And you know what? HBR did not let me or my mom down. They said that once you are part of the HBR family you are always part of the HBR family. They took me back in, put me in an amazing foster home, and here I am today, looking for another family.
Okay, so back to me. As I said earlier, I am young and energetic! I like to play and be around other dogs and humans. I even really like being around tiny little humans, or kids, as you all call them. One of my favorite things in the world is to be around my people and make them smile! One way that I have learned to make my humans smile, is by listening and being a good dog. I can do lots of things like follow basic commands, stay in a crate, walk on a leash, and I always remember to only go to the bathroom outside!
My foster mom keeps telling me that I am a very good dog. I know she is right about that and I know she is right when she says it’s not my fault that I am in this situation. That it was just bad luck and couldn’t be helped. I also hope she is right when she tells me that my luck will change and that the right family is going to come along soon and adopt me!
