My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maggie Rose is an amazing 7 year old walker coonhound on the smaller side, approximately 50#. She was abandoned at a convenient store, a man fed her and that night she was on his doorstep 5 miles away from where he fed her. She is a great dog, friendly and super loving. She was probably not a great hunter and was used for breeding pups in her past. Now, she just wants to be a pet. She will make a wonderful companion to any family. She is playful and very affectionate.

Sweet Maggie is the total package! She's house trained to perfection, and crate trained too, and gets along great with fellow pup friends and kids of any size. And she LOVES treats! Give her a good marrow bone or jerky treat and she goes to town with such exuberance that she does the "down dog" and leaves that butt up in the air wiggling away. Our girl has been looked over due to her age, but we want to reassure everyone that she's an energetic gal that would make an excellent adventure partner and has lots of awesome years left. The AARP fliers haven't even started coming in the mail yet. Read on to learn more about bringing this sassy senior home.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
