Smitty is a male Shih Tzu approximately 2 years old. He is a nice sized dog, weighing 14 pounds full grown. Smitty has been professionally groomed and currently has a shorter haircut. His coat with grow out long and wavy if allowed. Smitty is non-shedding and has gorgeous white and gray coloring with a mostly white body and then light gray ears and handsome gray markings on his face. We would recommend letting his coat grow a bit since it is going to be very pretty. Smitty is a quiet, easygoing guy who loves toys and gentle attention. He is cute with the toys because he will gather them all up and keep them in a nice pile near his doggie bed for when the playful mood strikes. Smitty is a warm, kind hearted dog, housebroken and fantastic inside the home. He is relatively non-demanding and although he will follow you around, his personality is enjoyable and more mellow. Smitty walks on leash and has nice manners in public. He is great with other dogs but doesn't need another dog in the home to feel secure. This young dog is a wonderful boy and will make an awesome, all around pet. He is good with children and likes gentle stroking and cuddling. He's not really a fan of loud, busy households or lots of rough-housing even though he is playful. He seems to prefer a more peaceful setting. And lots of toys. Smitty was rescued from a high-volume shelter where he was brought in stray. He has been vet checked and is very healthy. Smitty is ready for his new forever loving home today!
Smitty’s adoption donation is $475 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Smitty is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.
