Ozzie is fostered in Martinsburg, WV through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org.
Ozzie is an 11 yr. old, 10 lb. YorkiePoo who came to United Yorkie Rescue in February 2018 with his
buddy Wally after being rescued from a shelter where their owner left them when unable to care for
them any longer. This pair has been together all their lives and will need to be adopted together.
Ozzie is happy and instantly loves everyone he meets. Super sweet and affectionate, Ozzie is a well
behaved little man and adjusted well to his transition into his foster home. It took some time for his
buddy Wally to feel as comfortable, Ozzie stayed by his lifelong friend’s side proving him comfort and reassurance which is why we feel they need to stay together. Please only apply for Ozzie if you’re open to loving his brother Wally also.
Ozzie (and Wally) is neutered and up to date on shots. Both boys are house-trained, crate trained and have great leash and car skills. They come when called, get along with other well behaved dogs, and love bath time. Their ideal home will be a calm, gentle, loving home with no small children. They love exploring in the yard and going for walks, a fenced yard would make these boys happy! Ozzie has a grade III/IV heart murmur which does not affect him, he is otherwise healthy and with lots of energy, loves snuggles and belly rubs! What an adorable pair looking for their special family where they can settle in and enjoy life, could it be with you?
