My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sandy is a female brindle and white Boxer mix. She is 2 years old and weighs 45 pounds. Sandy is fully vetted including spayed, vaccinated with rabies, heartworm tested positive and being treated with the slow kill for heartworm treatment. A monthly heartworm prevention is given. A 6 month supply will come with adoption. Sandy is ready for adoption. She was rescued with her 2 pups in the fall 2016 from the Bossier City Animal Shelter. All were treated for sarcoptic mange. Cured, the pups adopted, now is Sandys turn. Sandy is a very friendly lady to everyone. She likes other dogs of all sizes and humans of all ages. Sandy is loyal, a quick learner and enjoys outdoor time. Her life shows Sandy was an outdoors lady but since rescue she enjoys indoors with her master and sleep on and off outdoors in a dog house. Sandy walks on a leash, knows her name and is potty trained. A home with a yard would be best for Sandy to enjoy.
