What do you do when you're a big bully breed street dog in Houston? If you're smart, you allow yourself to get rescued! That's what Dargan did. He allowed someone to save him and that was his lucky day!
Dargan is a cuddly, one eyed American Bulldog. He is about 5 years old and weighs 72 pounds. Street life wasn’t kind to our boy, it left him with an infected and painful eye, that we unfortunately weren’t able to save. He doesn’t mind at all though and even with just one eye left, you still see his kind soul shining through it.
This is a guy with a loving personality, as big as he is! Dargan is playful and energetic, so his perfect family will play and spend fun time with him. He equally enjoys cuddle time with his humans and loves to be lounging right in your lap.
Dargan is quite the gentlemen too; he keeps his room clean and doesn't chew up all his nice blankets and toys. Have places to go? You're in luck! Dargan LOVES car rides! He enjoys playing with pals and is particularly drawn to our female dogs at the kennel. ;-)
If you would love to love this big-headed boy, he sure would love that, too! Dargan needs his forever family, and we want that for him, too!

The adoption fee of $200 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines.
Transport is available to most major US and Canadian cities via United Airlines PetSafe for an additional $325. A customs fee may apply at Canadian airports. Ground transportation to Colorado is available for $175, and several locations in the northeastern US for $175.
