Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sparkle is a shepherd mix around 10 months old that we rescued from a shelter. Her previous owner had her inside a small apartment and used only puppy pads - little did I know that meant that she had never experienced the joys of outside or being a dog! Sparkle is very high energy but is also incredibly sweet (and makes a great cuddling partner). She has also completed 6 weeks of obedience training plus an additional 2 weeks of in-kennel training. She knows the basics like sit and down with implied stay, but her heel and leash manners still need work. She seems to never want to go outside, or, when outside she doesn't really want to be out - despite playing fetch and trying to get her to enjoy it with games.
Sparkle really needs to go to a home with a much bigger yard and preferably with a confident dog to teach her how to be a dog herself. She also needs an owner who is active and strong, given how much she can pull on a leash.
