Moose-Dachshund, wire haired/Schnauzer male, ~ 5 yr. (March 2018)
Moose was left in a horrible, high kill rural shelter. His owner abandondc him after 5 years together. Moose was pretty shook up but willing to trust the volunteers and staff who took up his cause and worked to fine him safety. Now in a Rescue foster home, he's learning for the first time to walk on the leash. He's meeting new dogs, making friends and doing very well. He's about 25-30#, a solid, good looking fellow. Moose's adoption fee is $300 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
