Mia was rescued from a neglect situation and had been previously living a drafty, dirty home with 4 other unspayed female cats. She was never fed properly, and therefore will always be a very small girl around 5-6 pounds. She was very afraid of change, but with a little patience and understanding from her foster mommy, has grown into a very vocal, very playful little cat! She is highly food motivated, the prettiest darned thing in the room, and will sleep on your lap for hours. If you let her, she will diligently groom your fingers and arms. She is used to being handled and does not lash out when you brush her teeth or trim her nails. She came from a bad situation, so no matter where she goes, she will need a home that understands that she will need her space in the beginning. But if you keep bringing her food, she will warm right up and be an excellent member of the family!
