Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I got Charlie when he was 3 month old and he is 6 month old now. He is healthy and up-to-date on shots. Currently weighs about 30 lbs. He is a happy, playful and smart boy. He is house-trained and crate-trained. We've finished Sirius Puppy I training. He knows basic commands includes: sit, down, stay, leave it, roll over etc. He is active and needs new stimulus all the time. Loves chasing balls and playing with other dogs.
I had a job change and my schedule is really busy now. Every day I walk him for 20 mins in the morning and take him to play in the dog park for 30 mins after work. However I still feel I'm not giving him enough attention. I think he would do better with a family that can spend more time with him (especially during the day), continue the training and really bond with him.
I'm hoping the adopter lives in the Bay Area, is experienced with puppies, familiar with golden retriever breed, have a backyard and have people at home during the day. Charlie is not very good with cats. I'd prefer him to be the only pet of your house. If you have a well-trained dog to be his buddy that's fine too. I think he needs at least 1 hour of exercise and 2 hours of play/cuddle/training session every day. He is still a puppy so you'll need to keep an eye on him all the time!
