My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bunny and Peter were trapped in June 2017. I was assisting a handicapped individual trap several outdoor cats so we could get them all spayed/neutered. As I was monitoring the "colony" I noted that 2 of the cats were hobbling on 3 legs. After they were trapped I took them to a veterinary clinic for x-rays which showed that both cats had been shot. So not only did Bunny and Peter get spayed/neutered they each had a leg amputated - never to return to their outdoor life. Peter spent two months behind our bathroom door. We would put canned food and treats in front of his face and he was always the perfect gentleman! Although Peter had never been inside a house for the first year of his life he never hissed or tried to scratch or bite us! He is now out and about and absolutely loves to have his butt scratched! He is more shy and quick to run under the bed if alarmed or if a stranger walks into the room but he also has come a long way to trusting again. Bunny is the more outgoing and social of the two. Peter and Bunny (the vet thinks they may be siblings) wrestle and groom each other all of the time. Naturally we would like to find them a safe indoor home together where they can develop a close, trusting bond with their new guardians. To meet Peter and Bunny please call Rebecca at 440-321-2485
