Gracie is a healthy, somewhat shy, adult terrier who spent her entire life in a very quiet, stable home with a retired couple. She was the center of attention, and when the husband passed away, the wife went to a retirement center that didn't allow dogs. Gracie was brought to the TLC. Although she is adjusting well, it is obvious that she is missing the love and attention she received from her humans. She is an amiable, affectionate adult gal (about 8 years old) who thrives on human companionship. Gracie loves walks...long walks or short walks...and snuggles. She is very reserved, but bonds quickly. She would need a secure fenced yard where she could safely run and play. She would make an ideal companion for a quiet family with plenty of time to help her heal from the loss of a long time family.
