Vishnu is 2 years old, 6.5 lbs and ready for his real forever home to be loved and doted on and treated like a little prince. Vishnu came from a hoarding situation where he was literally living in and on feces, trash and urine. Vishnu was born without his front limbs. He is a special needs boy both physically and behaviorally. Vishnu is super sweet and would not hurt a fly. He has no aggression. This sweet boy needs a patient and loving adopter, preferably an experienced adopter. He is not potty trained yet but is working on it. If a pee pad is in the room/space he is in and easily accessible he will use it. Poor Vishnu is still a bit scared of the outdoors and new places but he is warming up to people and seems to like meeting new friends, both 4 legged and 2. Vishnu is not very mobile. Now we have had several dogs in this rescue missing limbs that get along just great but Vishnu's fear is holding him back a bit. Eventually a cart may be helpful but he is no where near ready to train for a cart yet. We tried just to see what he would do and like we thought, once we strapped him into the cart he was absolutely frozen in fear. Maybe one day. but we are pretty far from wheelie training just yet. Vishnu loves being held and carried and will sit with you or next you all day. He likes toys and chewies. Every single day we see more and more progress with Vishnu and we know he is going to make someone so very happy as these special needs babies really have a way of humbling you and filling your heart with joy. Additional photos and videos will be made available to potential adopters upon approval of our online adoption application. Transport arrangements will be made upon application approval and completion of the adoption agreement.
