6/15/09 - PLEASE HELP CHIP...HE'S BEEN GIVEN A 30-DAYEXTENSION BECAUSE HE'S SO SWEET, BUT HIS TIME IS RUNNING OUT.... Hi All. My name is Chip and I am a sweet 10 yr old pointer-mix. I was originally found as a stray back in December in the Jackson area. Since no one was interested in me, I decided to check out the beach. I am at the Ocean County Animal Shelter down here in Manahawkin. A nice older man adopted me for 5 months but then sadly returned me. I didn't do anything wrong, he just couldn't handle me anymore. I think it was probably because I had a skin condition on my leg and he had to take me to the vet alot. The nice people at the shelter have been keeping an eye on me and I haven't chewed my leg at all. I am currently not on any medication and I feel fine. I had a visitor from the GSP rescue and she said that I was real sweet and mellow. I heard her talking to the shelter lady and she said that everyone there loves me. I can't understand why no one wants to adopt me. I'm so cute and still have spunk for a 10 yr old boy! Won't you come down the shore and give me the chance I deserve?
