We adopted Buddy over a year ago from a shelter. He had been surrendered once previously, we believe, due to the fact that the owner was not an experienced adopter (the reason stated was due to his energy level and not listening to commands). We took him to dog training for 6 weeks - he is a fast learner and trains well. He knows commands such as: sit, leave it, and shake.
The reason we are looking for a new home is because we have a newborn at home and Buddy needs and deserves a home that will give him more attention and affection than we are able to at this moment. We trained him to adjust to our newborn, however he is showing signs of needing more attention (acting out) and we know that this is the reason.
Buddy is very energetic, loving, loves to cuddle, likes to play and run around, and needs a lot of attention and play time. He is crate trained and house trained. His energy level could be misconstrued as aggression, so an experienced adopter is necessary.
