Seamus is a two and a half year old Terrier mix. Staff think Irish Terrier. This playful pup is a lean sixty pounds or so, not a small-sized terrier.This handsome guy has had a little obedience training and is much more dog-friendly than he has been given credit for. He walked on quite a good heel and sat when asked. We walked him with one of the rock-steady female dogs and after some initial excitement, he settled into a nice walk with her, even initiating some play behavior. He seems to just need a refresher on good manners and was very responsive, if a bit sensitive to the idea that rules were going to be enforced. We would love to find a foster home with a friendly female dog or a patient male dog that can help him polish up his manners and get ready for adoption.
