My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sandy is a 2 y/o sweet, beautiful yellow lab mix (although looks mostly lab). Sandy is housebroken, crate-trained and follows commands like sit, off, and place. Comes eagerly when called; working on stopping and coming when she has spotted a squirrel. She walks well on a leash and enjoys exercise daily. She loves walks, exploring, and fetch - but mostly loves attention, cuddling, belly rubs & giving kisses.

An ideal home might be a less busy household, as she can be wary of strangers. Once she warms up and trusts you, she is as SWEET as can be. She likes to lounge around, but would still like room to run and play! A fenced yard would be a plus, as she may like to go exploring. Or on a farm with no boundaries where she can run, explore, and chase squirrels!

Good with medium to larger dogs, less certain about small dogs, cats or small children. Would also do well as only dog. Sandy is currently in a foster home with her sister Bella, but we are looking for separate homes for them.
