Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at www.paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if not small children (under 8) are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet references can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
Kit is currently living in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin with a young boy, a bigger dog and a cat. He is a sweet and energetic puppy who loves to explore and play with his brother, Karson and his toys. His favorites are tennis balls and squeaky toys. He likes to curl up for naps with his brother in his foster mom's lap. He is working hard on housetraining and walking on a leash. He is very quiet when it's not playtime and doesn't bark much in the house.
Update: At 5 months, Kit is doing really well with potty training. He's a medium energy puppy. He LOVES going for walks. He also likes catching bubbles, playing keep away with his toys and playing with his foster kitty brother. He likes to relax with a bully stick or some cuddles. Kit sleeps well through the night in his crate and rides in a car well too. His foster mom loves his greetings of kisses and a super waggy tail. He can get a little nervous meeting new dogs as they can be big and scary and may need a slower introduction. He does very well with the dog he is fostered with.
Kit and his brother Karson arrived into rescue on 3-27-2018. We have pictures of the very small mom and tiny toy fox terrier the dad is a fox terrier mix as well. Mom is 4 lbs and dad is 13.6 lbs. Kit is estimated to be about 11 weeks old as of 4-9-2018.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved, a meet and greet with the dog.
Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but adoptions in Illinois will be considered.
Adoption fee is $250.
