My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Black Jack. I am a 13 month old Shepherd/Pitbull mix. I was found as a stray roaming the streets of Covington, KY. I came from a backyard breeder, who was cited for animal cruelty.

I am super sweet! I LOVE everyone, including kids. I am extremely intelligent. After three basic obedience classes, I know "watch me, sit, down, and come." I also work with a trainer in the home. My training goes with me and my new adoptive family :)

I am dog selective. I do NOT do well with dominant male dogs because I seem to be more on the dominant side myself. I would prefer a submissive female or puppy playmate. I walk well on a leash but I am leash reactive when I see another dog.

**A fenced yard and a home visit are required.
