Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

Meet Grady! This handsome 1 year old boy was adopted to a college girl from our local shelter. She realized dogs take a lot of time, money and patience which she didn't have, just graduating and moving to another state. She put Grady first and decided he needed a new family. Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue agreed to help.
Grady was found in a little town in Alabama as a stray, brought to the local shelter and fully vetted, because they thought he was worth saving. Grady is house broken, gets along with other big dogs and cats, we know for sure. He doesn't like to be left alone and would love to have a doggie friend.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21.
