My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Callie (HWTH#18107A). She is a Labrador Retriever mix, DOB: 4/17/17. Callie weighs 55 pounds and stands 23 inches at the shoulders. She was rescued off the streets by a volunteer with Halfway to Home. Callie is a loving girl with women but she doesn't like most men. Lots of love, good-quality human companionship, playtime and daily exercise will be a must for Callie. When she is thoroughly settled in her new Forever home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process. Once Callie has bonded with her new owner, she will be a loyal canine companion. She is crate trained. For more information on Callie, please call Sandy at tele # 661-824-4495 (this is a land-line phone).

She is very busy so would easily knock over a small child. She needs training so if you aren't an experienced dog person please be willing to get her into training classes. We do not take Callie to Petco because of her behavior.

At the rescue Callie is housed with Sergeant and they are walked together.
Sergeant has been adopted so now Callie is housed with Lorenzo and they are walked together.
