My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Webster is an adorable 6-8 month old American Staffordshire terrier mix. He found himself in a kill shelter that was completely full and his time had run out when we went in to save him. Webster is short and stocky, with the silkiest dark chocolate coat! He has adorable webbed feet, which is how he got his name :)

Webster is described by his foster mom as "a lazy dog. Super duper lazy. His perfect day consists of eating the corners off all pillows, grabbing onto your hoodie or sweatpants strings and holding on for dear life while dragging you around by them, and just totally a goofy guy. He has a big scary bark that seems odd coming from such a smallish dog. He is motivated by food which makes training easier. He wants to sit with you on the couch and suck on blankets and pillows. He has some resource guarding issues (food, treats), so he needs a firm, confident owner, and needs ongoing training. He is curious about cats but afraid of them and has not gone after any. He is best suited to experienced owners familiar with the breed, and no small children.

Webster is about 35 lbs and may have a bit more growing to do. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is also on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He is crate trained but not yet fully housebroken as he still has occasional accidents.
