Freckles was born in my home on February 11, 2013 after rescuing her very pregnant mother who had been dumped in a local park here in San Antonio, Texas. I named her Freckles because her front paws are marked with what looks like Freckles. There were more of them across her body when she was a baby but she still has them on her front legs.
She is a 30 pound Labrador Retriever/Beagle Blend. She has reached her adult height and weight. Freckles was adopted as a puppy by a single lady but returned to me 1 month ago with no fault to Freckles. Her owner decided for change of lifestyle that does not include any dogs so she was returned to me after 4 years.
She is a mildly active dog but not destructive, she does not bother anything in the house that is not her toys. Her ideal home would be with someone who could walk her on a regular basis or someone who wants a running buddy. Even though she is almost 5 years old, she still plays with toys and other dogs like a puppy. Freckles really appreciates a human that loves her, she is very devoted and will give you love daily
Freckles is not one of those dogs that kisses you all the time but she’ll reward you for a head scratch if you ask her for a kiss. She has pretty shiny brown nails that look as if they were painted.
She rides well in a car, walks great on a leash. She sleeps in a doggy bed in a crate with the door open. She does not need a crate and you can completely trust her in your home alone. She will just patiently wait for your return.
Freckles is friends to everyone, kids, senior citizens, cats and all dogs, she has no fear of any humans and she like to say hello to your company. She is well behaved and would make a great family pet. Freckles would love to have another home that truly means a forever home.
I still have her baby pictures and would love to share them with the family who would consider making Freckles part of their family.
ALL DOGS HAVE BEEN FIXED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, MICROCHIPPED AND THEIR MEDICAL RECORDS COME WITH THEM AT THE TIME OF ADOPTION,
