My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Elsa from the Humane Society when she was 2 years old. Elsa was already house trained. When she first arrived she was an escape artist and would rush out of the house and go up to each neighbors' door. We guess that she was looking for her previous family. It took a few months before she realized this was home so keep that in mind when you bring her to your home. Elsa is a great watch dog. She loves the outside and would benefit from access to a fenced yard. She does fine by herself all day at home without being crated. At night she sleeps in her bed set up in our bedroom. Elsa loves to cuddle up with you on the couch and when she wants attention Elsa will just flop down at your feet and present her belly to rub. Just as in the photo. Elsa has done well when we board her at dogsitters who own other dogs. She does tend to get defensive with other dogs while walking the trail - we typically try to distract her. She does not like squirrels and barks at them.
